i need to see you doting bird
i need to see you working ant
i need to see you crunchy egg.
i need to see you skipping stone
i need to see you setting sun
i need to see you rolling water
i need to see you shinning knight
i need to see you soft grass.
hold still world,
just hold still so i can match my strokes with your textures
your shadows with my coal
hold still, but not like in a photograph.
just let time..take a break from all its running.
i want to recreate you in my mind through my hands.
through my brush
through the canvas
through my colors.
so that others may see you,
feel you
taste you
hear you
smell you..
..and know you like i do.
